This version of Converse’s Chuck Taylor Hi is far removed from the courts, with undulating overlays inspired by the map patterns of nor’easter storms. They range in colour from a soft lilac to a more vibrant red and appear on the outsole, too. But the base is neutral and respectful of the model’s roots, with a soft winter white across the uppers and tonal rubber on the foxing tape, toe cap and heel plaque.
